Crochet Dress for my Pitbull Puppy

I just couldn't resist.  I had to crochet her Lil'Bit her very own pink dress.  She is just so sweet.

Listed our puppies on craigslist

Yes, they are only a month old as of today.  But they are not ready to go away just yet.  They need a couple more weeks with mommy.  But we have listed them, so people who are interested can go ahead and steak their claim.  Because these hog hunters will go fast.  I hate to let them go.  If I could I would keep 'em all.  Love these puppies.

Updates on the pitbull puppies

Been super busy and haven't really had time to post.  So by tomorrow the pups will be exactly one month old.  and I have been taking photos and videos of them, just couldn't find the time of the day to post them.  Anyhow, here are some updated photos as the month rolled by.

October 23rd, 2013 - Day of Birth

November 8th
Took them outside to get some sun.  But they seemed to shy away from the brightness of the day.  So we brought them inside the house after only a few minutes.

November 10th -  kodak moment

November 13th - About 3weeks old.  They are now very active and playful.  Below is their first video.

November 15th - Toot loves her pups and kiddie pool.

November 16th, 2013
Here they are, I'm preparing them to begin eating dog food.  So I start them with chicken broth and rice. I was really surprised to see them eat and drink from bowl.  Her first batch of pups last year, we had to hand feed them to let them know that is food.  These pups seems to know what's in the bowl and quickly devour the food.

and as you can see, they are beginning to outgrow their kiddie pool.  I just changed the paper and it's all wet already.  From now on, the kiddie pool will be for dining only, but not before I host it down with water.

November 17th
Running two businesses and having 10 new pups with 6 pitbull dogs, I still managed to take Toot for a walk so she can enjoy rolling in grass.

Her siblings were playing too rough and she cried out.  So I just let her hang out with me for a while.  She became a victim of my crochet hook.

November 18th
Good weather today here in Macon.  So the pups are outside working on their vitamin D.

by now, they know what to do with bowls once I put it down.  They're going to need a third one soon.

Stop by Dollar General store the other day and grabbed some of these dog treats.  These are ok for small to medium size puppies, But my pitbull puppies are over a year old, about 1 year and 1 month, and I consider them large dogs.  I like to get them dog treats that can last more than a couple minutes.  They devour these treats in less than a minute.

But what I was really out to get was this EverPet flea comb.  It's so far the best flea comb we've use so far.  and it's less expensive than the others I've purchased.  and this one only cost me less than $2 bucks.  It actually works for the big dogs and it works perfect for these two-weeks old pitbull puppies.

Two weeks old pitbull puppies

I've been so busy catering to Toot and her 10 brand new puppies.  They are two weeks old today. Although we've been so busy, I wanted to take some shots of the puppies today and post them here on her blog.  Their eyes began opening couple of days ago and they are seems more alert.  Some are already on their fours, walking and even seems to take off pretty fast.  They are very much alert, healthy and really seems to be one happy pack.

Their blanket is in the washing machine, along with the rest of their dirty and stinky blankets.  They'll be dry before the end of the day. I bought three blankets or throws from Walmart for less than $3 each.

It is such a good idea to use this kiddie pool for her and her pups.  I wish I would have thought about it last year.  But you live and you learn.
