Forever My Princess: A Walk to Remember

This photo holds a piece of my heart. Her name was Princess—my blue and white pitbull with the most loyal eyes and a soul that felt like home. She passed away a couple of years ago, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss her.

We shared so many quiet, meaningful moments together, like this one here at the Ocmulgee Mounds in Macon, Georgia. She loved our walks. And I loved them because she was by my side. I wish I could’ve given her more of that—more walks, more cuddles, more time. I wish I could’ve given her the perfect life she deserved.

Princess wasn’t just a pet—she was my favorite. The one who understood me without words, who stood by me through so many chapters. Losing her left a space no other can fill.

This picture reminds me of how lucky I was to love her—and be loved by her. Wherever she is now, I hope she’s running free, tail wagging, soaking in sunshine.

If you’ve ever had a dog who was more than a dog… you know. And if you want to share your story, or ask about mine, my heart is open. Just reach out. 💙🐾

Saturday at the Park with Hershey

I'm happy why my dog is happy.   and her happy place is this park.
She gets to somewhat run loose.

That's my pity bull

Hershey playing with me.

This is Emerson Park in Macon Georgia. The park is huge.  There's plenty of room.  and we carved a little area away from the public to let Hershey out and run around.
It's just her now.  She's my last pup.
Toot, Roxy, Rico, Hitler, Brownie, Princess, Solo and Princess.  I took care of all of them till death due us part.  I missed them.  Sometimes more than my humans.  is that strange?

I'm glad Tracy took us here today.  Even if it just for a little bit.
We didn't see the lady today.  She wasn't at her usual spot.
I hope everything is ok with her.
