This photo holds a piece of my heart. Her name was Princess—my blue and white pitbull with the most loyal eyes and a soul that felt like home. She passed away a couple of years ago, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss her.
We shared so many quiet, meaningful moments together, like this one here at the Ocmulgee Mounds in Macon, Georgia. She loved our walks. And I loved them because she was by my side. I wish I could’ve given her more of that—more walks, more cuddles, more time. I wish I could’ve given her the perfect life she deserved.
Princess wasn’t just a pet—she was my favorite. The one who understood me without words, who stood by me through so many chapters. Losing her left a space no other can fill.
This picture reminds me of how lucky I was to love her—and be loved by her. Wherever she is now, I hope she’s running free, tail wagging, soaking in sunshine.
If you’ve ever had a dog who was more than a dog… you know. And if you want to share your story, or ask about mine, my heart is open. Just reach out. 💙🐾
